Would you happen to have come across a ROSE MAW?
She was the mother of William Edward Fishbourne who was born 01 Aug 1918 at Fairhazel Cottages, Piltdown, Fletching, nr Uckfield, Sussex.
William's birth certificate claims she was married to William Joseph Fishbourne, but this is not the case as at the time he was married to my great grandmother Beatrice Louise Clarke.
All I know of her is her name from the certificate, so would be grateful for any information you would have. I don't know for sure if MAW was her maiden or married name.
