  • Notes 
    • During the war, George Preston worked in Goole building the concrete barges that would form the mullberry harbour on 'D Day'. He also worked in the bomb rescue service. Apart from small building works, G&S Prerston built several new bungalows in Welton, 10 miles West of Hull.
