George Maw b 1745 is the son of James Maw and Hannah/Ann??
I believe James had died by 1753; see www.findmypast.com , 05 Aug 1753 bapt of Hannah Maw, daughter of Hannah Maw, widow.
I have no birth or marriage dates for James and Hannah/Ann.
James Maw and his wife Hannah/Ann had the following children:
1- George bapt 21 Jul 1745 Rawcliff, Yorkshire He married Esther/Hester Priestley 06 Feb 1770. see above
2- Mary bapt 26 Jan 1746/47 Rawcliff
3- Thomas bapt 17 Apr 1750 Rawcliff
4- Hannah bapt 05 Aug 1753 Rawcliff Her mother Hannah was a widow at the time of her birth,

All of this Maw information indicates that they were Anglican
George Maw 1745 had a brother Thomas (bapt 17 Apr 1750. Thomas married Elizabeth Kelk 20 Aug 1771 Rawcliff, Yorkshire (both OTP) George Maw was a witness.
Thomas and Elizabeth had three known children:
1- Hannah 19 Jul 1772 Whitgift, Yorkshire
2- Mary 03 Feb 1774 Whitgift
3- Elizabeth 11 Nov 1777 Whitgift

PS, my mother's maiden name was Maw. She was Idaleen Marie Maw the daughter of Harlan Maw and Marie Asenath Meredith Maw.
