Knox Presbyterian Cemetery, Crieff was established around 1854 when a large frame church was built at the location for the West Puslinch Presbyterian congregation.

However, the frame church was larger than necessary and difficult to heat, so eventually the congregation decided to rebuild. The frame building was taken down and the present brick building was completed in 1882. The designation "Knox Church, Crieff" dates from this time.

In 1920, a committee was formed to plan improvement of the cemetery and grounds surrounding the church. These improvements included the building of a stone wall with entrance gates and the planting of ornamental hedges and trees. A corner stone and appropriate re­cords were placed in the east pillar of the gateway directly in front of the church. Much of this work was done with the help of Lieut. Col. John Bayne Maclean and his brother Major Hugh Maclean, whose parents are buried in the cemetery.

Knox Presbyterian Church, Crieff maintains the cemetery which is still open for burials.
