Edgar Billie Maw
(Retired farmer in Springville, Past Owner/Operator of Baker's Fish and Chips 1963 - 1983,
Member and Elder of Springville United Church, Avid Hunter and Fisherman, Past Director of Federation of Agriculture)
Peacefully, with his family at his side, on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, in his 82nd year. Edgar, beloved husband of Winnie Maw (nee Cooke) for 57 years. Loving father of Don, Andy (Carolyn), Peter (Laura) and Winston (Donna). Dear grandfather of Paul, Bill (Sabina), Teresa (Gavin Corbet), Janel, Stacey, Logan, Evan, and Tiernan. Great grandfather of Owen. Brother of Ruth, Albert, Ken, Bev, Gerald and the late Harold. Will be fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends. A Celebration of Edgar's Life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation prior to the service from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street.
