My Dad died on 2nd July, so unfortunately no more information from that direction.
I think his grandfather Thomas moved to London from the Epworth area and worked as a cabinet maker. He made picture frames for Alma Tadema and apparently went drinking with the Prince of Wales.
His sons both worked on the railway at Kings Cross.
My Dad moved to Otley after the war.
His siter Olive lives in Uxbridge.
I have .pdf copies of several certificates if you are interested.
